Red is more than just a fashion statement. It’s all about

support for women’s heart disease awareness. Most attention is
placed on men and their heart problems. Sad to say, women have

We had to take passport pictures recently. And I had THE worst experience at FedEx Kinkos. I asked the guy if he was a good photographer. Turned out, not only was he not a good photographer, he had no sense of humor OR customer service.

The nice man neglected to tell us that the camera had a delay. It didn’t take the picture until about 2 seconds AFTER he had snapped the button. So, a few moments after he was done, I started to move and to speak – and THAT’S when the camera took the picture.

FedEx Kinkos uses a digital camera, so the guy can see the

picture before it’s printed. He could have easily re-taken it. But didn’t. Jerk. The worst thing about the picture? The really
dark circles under my eyes. Grrrrrr.

This morning, I came across a potential solution. Read today’s

(Oh yes, the picture? Trashed. I went and got my hair done, put make-up on and went to the local printer’s shop where he also takes old-fashioned Polaroid passport photos – and actually looks through the lens before he shoots. Much better.)
