Ask TaxMama Issue 637 – Happy Passover and Easter

Dear Friends,

Happy Passover Eve and Good Friday. The holy weekend is upon us. Many of you aren’t working – or have already left town. (Which explains the heavy traffic we heard about yesterday.) I wish you all a loving, noisy, friendly family weekend.  And please, if you know of friends or co-workers who are alone – invite them to join you.

Tonight we’ll be joining our family at their Seder. How is this night different from all other nights? Well, dinner will be late. My sister-in-law warned me that dinner won’t be served until about 10:30…kind of chuckled and suggested we eat before coming over. Yes, yes…the Seders that last most of the night.

That reminds of the time someone asked me if I had seen the first episode of a (then) new show, The Bible. I replied, “Nah. I read the book.”

More fun things. TaxMama’s search for the Utlimate Tax Nerd is over!

TaxMama has found THE Ultimate Tax Nerd of 2012! Actually, the TWO Ultimate Tax Nerds of 2012.

Clint Masser and Melissa Guy were so popular that the Super TaxNerd and the Taxorcist BOTH win.

You can see all the other winners here – we’ll be jazzing the page up a little as soon as we get responses from the winners. We’d like to help them promote their websites and business, too.

Nicole is working to produce an e-book to memorialize all the fun. It will have all the entries (pictures), some information about the entrants. And it will be interlaced with some Money Funnies, to create a fun little gift for all members!

Speaking of members – we have finally opened registration for the 2012 season of TaxMama’s EA Exam Review Course. We’re doing something a little special this year.
