Dear Friends,
Happy Passover Eve and Good Friday. The holy weekend is upon us. Many of you aren’t working – or have already left town. (Which explains the heavy traffic we heard about yesterday.) I wish you all a loving, noisy, friendly family weekend. And please, if you know of friends or co-workers who are alone – invite them to join you.
Tonight we’ll be joining our family at their Seder. How is this night different from all other nights? Well, dinner will be late. My sister-in-law warned me that dinner won’t be served until about 10:30…kind of chuckled and suggested we eat before coming over. Yes, yes…the Seders that last most of the night.
That reminds of the time someone asked me if I had seen the first episode of a (then) new show, The Bible. I replied, “Nah. I read the book.”
