OK I’m lying. Yesterday was really International Mother
Language Day, not today. But I like the concept of the
richness of culture. And I love languages and want to
encourage everyone to learn the languages of their parents
and grandparents. And so, we honor the day, a little late.

Speaking of parents and grandparents, my friend Sally Dalton
in Oregon, Ohio sent her friends some urgent talking points
between parents and adult children. Since they are so important,
and are so often neglected, I’ve provided them for you to

It does not deal with excess contributions and how to fix that

problem. We were dealing with that on the phone with the
investment house yesterday. What a pain! Lesson here? Don’t
fund your retirement accounts without FIRST talking to your
tax pro about your plans for the year.
