It all comes to you courtesy of our watchdogs (puppies?) at NAEA. We also give a bit of information about the new Medicare tax kicking on payrolls and business profits in January. Incidentally, E&Y just released some new information about what constitutes a luxury car, in terms of cost, in IRS’s opinion. Can you believe it – $16,000 is a LUXURY car? Where can I get a new, functioning car, with power steering and air (and a body that won’t collapse in an accident) at that price?
This week’s Money Funnies provides a holiday recipe for fruitcake. Maybe this one won’t get passed on eternally?
This week’s Equifax Blog gives you some ideas on how to protect yourself in case of a tax hike. You can also learn how to deck the halls on a budget, and how to access insurance information on your cell phone.

All our classes are now over for the year. It’s time to clean up the office – and the house. It’s time to take a break and goof off a little. And our TaxQuips will be on a holiday schedule. We’ll be sending them out only if there’s anything interesting to say next week – or not at all. We’ll be closed during the last week of December through the New Year. Our hard-working staff needs some time off before facing the New Year’s Tax Crush.
