Dear Family,
Well, Tax Season is all wrapped up – and many of you have hit the road. I can tell, since so many of your autoresponders are saying you’re gone for the next week or two. I don’t blame you. This year, for some reason, was particularly grueling. Some Tax Pros tell me they are still reeling from the complex new problems they’ve been seeing.
Clearly, I do need a break. TaxMama will be dark this coming week. No emails, no newsletters. No answers to your questions in the TaxQuips Forum or anywhere else. So if you have questions or comments, please, wait to post or send them until April 30. When I return, all refreshed, I’ll be ready and eager to answer all your questions again!

In today’s IRS News, the IRS provides some words of reassurance for those who missed the filing deadline – and some tips on how to make things better.
