Problem Resolution and Focus Groups

Problem Resolution had a facility at the Tax Forum. One of my friends brought a case file with her (and power of attorney forms, etc.). When picking up her registration packet on Monday, she was given a form to fill out with the specifics of her case (and a copy of the power of attorney – Form 2848). By the time she arrived at her appointment on Tuesday or Wednesday, the staff had pulled up relevant information about her case and researched the stumbling blocks. She sat down with them and resolved all the problems in no time at all. This is a case that has been a source of frustration for many, many months. Her clients have a refund coming soon.

August 13, 2010

Dear Family,
Welcome to Friday the 13th.
The days dawns bright and sunny. The squirrels are still quietly asleep before their busy day of frolicking  on their trellis jungle jim and spitting out walnut seed pieces on my car. The birds are twittering quietly, still asleep. Soon, they’ll be up chattering passionately about their latest victory over [...]

July 30, 2010

Dear Family,

Rebecca started the Peformance Marketing Association (PMA) to help set standards for ‘performance [...]

Ask TaxMama Issue 560 – The Advocate Speaks

July 9, 2010

Dear Family,
This morning I started reading the Taxpayers Advocate’s (TAS) report to Congress and completely lost track of time. Does that happen with you, too?  For me, reading is a fully absorbing activity. Books are especially dangerous. Once I sit down with a book, I’m lost. I’ll stay up all night to finish it. In [...]
