Give blood. It may save your own life. Here's a story from a friend in Australia whose father just died: The hospital believes he was one of the longest leukemia survivors in the country (41 years). For those of you who don't know the story. He went to give a regular blood donation in January 1961 & they found something had gone wrong. The actual act of being a blood donor saved his life. In that era, by the time he would have felt sick it would have been too late. So if you are not already a blood donor I'd love to encourage you to become one. Donate at your local Red Cross. Drop in on the DJ Martin Foundation to help families of murder victims deal with the trauma resulting from a loved one's death Diane Gray sent this - If you've got a moment: Let this be your other good deed for today... it only takes a second.
