Once Upon a Time...

Many years ago, I was in Las Vegas and happened upon something that sounded interesting at the Golden Nugget.

I can't remember who the headliners were. I know it was someone I really liked, perhaps the Smothers Brothers? But I forgot them when the secondary act really captured my imagination.

A man came out onto a darkened stage and started talking. Someone, behind him, was on a keyboard, a synthesizer? Maybe there was someone else in the dark...

As this man spoke, the stage took on the semblance of night, with a million stars, like sitting around a campfire.

His words were hypnotic, and started spinning a tale. Soon, his one tale wove its way into another, then another...the audience was captivated. I was hooked. When Geoffrey finally stopped...and the lights turned on, I wanted more.

I'd always loved story-telling. It reminds me of those times, curled up in my father's arms early in the morning, when he would tell me all his magical tales and fables.

So Celestial Navigations really touched a place in my soul. But, after that one time in Las Vegas, I never saw them again - until just recently, on the Internet. When I ordered up a batch of tapes.

How wonderful! I am really looking forward to the latest volume. They say that Volume 5 will be coming out this fall. Get one for yourself - as well as for your favorite people.
