House Passes New Bill to Counter Corporate Frauds
WASHINGTON, July 17, 2002 (Xinhua News Agency) - The US House of
Representatives approved a new bill concerning criminal penalties
for corporate frauds on Tuesday, just one day after the Senate
passed a reform bill which was hailed as a move to bring the
most sweeping changes to the accounting industry
