Dear Family,

Daylight savings time is always fun. After being sure to alert you last week, we forgot to change all our clocks and watches on Sunday. And I rushed around to finish things and get to my mom's house in time... only to learn, I arrived over an hour earlier than expected. My mother is still chuckling over that.

Of course, now, there's that clock in the car. Have you ever noticed it takes months to figure out how to change it on the newer, high-tech models? By the time you finally remember how, it's nearly time to change it back. (Same with re-setting radio stations after your car's been serviced and they've had to turn off the power for whatever reason...where's an 8-year-old when you need one?!)

Without tax deadlines, this is a great time for planning, cleaning closets and files...and doing all those things you've set aside to get to - like shredding the mounds of 'offers' you've gotten all year.
