Dear Family,

We had so much fun at our Tax Bankruptcy workshop this week. Lots of people came...even someone from Australia who is just not clear on the concept - this is about UNITED STATES tax laws - not OZ.

David Stone, EA from FormerIRS.com answered scads of questions. And the general consensus was, next session, we'll go into more details about how an Offer in Compromise works.

Meanwhile, we got a note from Judy Schonfeld, EA elaborating on bankruptcy issues you should know.

This week, great news, I think...? The House Ways and Means Committee is finally holding hearings on major tax reform. Wouldn't you love to see some positive changes to the system?

Heck, I don't even care if they don't reduce taxes, just simplify the way they are reported. Wouldn't that make you feel great? And we can all go do other things!

We've got lots of good things in today's issue, including a haiku for your cultural pleasure.

Kick back, relax and enjoy!

Best wishes,
Eva Rosenberg, EA
