Dear Family,

Looking around for something delightful to celebrate, I discovered it's Tony Curtis' 80th birthday. The site is really designed to sell Curtis' paintings. But, along with the shot of each painting is a brief story of its significance to Tony Curtis. You can glean some charming personal tidbits about the man, rather than the actor.

Today's questions really annoyed me when they came in. Both of them involve professionals who are not doing their jobs intelligently, or systems that don't work properly. They definitely both qualify as Stupid Tax Tricks.

Let's just see if we can get things fixed, shall we?

And speaking of getting things fixed, I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing. ICANN, the folks who essentially run the Internet are creating a new domain classification. You're familar with .com and .biz? Now they are adding .xxx .

If all porno and adult sites actually use that domain class, perhaps it will make it easier to set screens and filters on childrens' computers. If not, you know where they'll be headed! And be honest... remember when you were 10, or 12, or...? Didn't you do everything you could to get a peek of your big brother's or dad's or friend's big brother's reading material?

My older brother had a book, hard bound, with a light blue cover. Nice. Conservative looking book from the 50's. It was called Over Sexteen. It even had a sequel, called More Over Sexteen. It was filled with cartoons and jokes related to sex. My youngest brother and I were always trying to get our hands on it.

[Well, OK, I remember it being a nice, conservative solid color. My brother must have removed the dust jackets - here's a picture of them.

And how do you like that...they are still around. You can get used copies from Amazon.com:

More Over Sexteen

Over Sexteen 3 (Sexteen)

Don't worry, this isn't bad. It's actually mild enough to be coffee-table humor. And compared to what I get in MY e-mail - well...never mind...

This is the first weekend in June. It's been feeling like summer here for weeks. Perhaps, this weekend, I can get out and enjoy the beautiful weather. Hopefully, you will, too.

Best wishes,
Eva Rosenberg, EA
