Charlie Weiner Thank you ALL for your notes, advice, wisdom and concern about my friend, Charlie. He died peacefully, last Saturday morning, holding hands with his son. He was buried Wednesday morning with military honors, and balloons and a certain amount of mischief that would have made his eyes crinkle with amusement. His son had indulged his whims for his favorite decadent foods the night before, so Charlie enjoyed his last meal. He's in a good place. With many of the people he helped over the years, and students he taught, and teachers he guided.
