TaxMama Didn't Answer
line

Speaking of needing help. Many of you do.

And I'd love to spread my arms, gather you all in and protect you from tax troubles. But I can't. And with the flood of questions pouring in, I can't answer them all. (I am working on a way to generate enough money to hire people to answer your questions - but that won't happen for at least a year.)

Meanwhile, I have to engage in response triage. I scan all the questions quickly to see if the person has at least followed the minor instructions on the Ask Your Question page.

Most people don't bother to include their first and last name. Some, just use an initial. Well, that makes it easy to dump.

Then, I ask for your city and state/province/country. We all like to know where the questions come from. Besides, there's no way to help you with a state-related issue if we don't know where you are. More questions dumped. See how it works?

You didn't bother to use complete sentences and punctuation? Well, if you were too lazy to do that, why should I do it for you? Everyone has spell check on their e-mail host. Gone!

You never even tried to find the answer on the site? It's easy to tell, when you ask a question that was just answered in an issue up on the site. Come ON!!!!! The Google search engine is really good. It searches through the thousands of pages of TaxMama.com and narrows down your issue. You're bound to find what you need. Honest to mergatroyd!

So, if you're upset that you didn't get a reply ... there may be a reason. I never got far enough to actually read your question.

On the other hand, I've been working non-stop for months and don't always have time to even look up and say Hi to my husband ... much less answer your question. So, I am behind. Sad, but true. I am so sorry not to be able to help you all, always.

Remember, this is a FREE site. Yes, you don't pay a dime to use it. It's not run by some corporation with megabucks. It's just ME, in my living room, answering your questions and producing a prodigious amount of free information, articles and resources - when I have time.

Whether they believe it or not, my clients do come first.

This site is 100% supported by EVA ROSENBERG.

So, be kind ... and be patient.
