OK, we've gone through one cycle. One person submitted a query and told me the results. (The others who submitted queries haven't confided in me.)

He got no response. After two weeks, LegalMatch gave him these options:

  1. Rewording his query and re-sbumitting it himself.
  2. Having LegalMatch reword his query and submit it for $29.95
  3. Delete your case
  4. Go back to the site and use their legal forms packages and handle it yourself.

<TaxMama Suggests>

Do you know what I would do if I were you? I would re-word the query and re-submit it. I use several services to generate information, news, find experts or people to interview. I find that sometimes, it's a matter of timing - the query goes out - no one responds.

On a different day - the same query gets re-sent and everyone responds. Perhaps they didn't see it, or they did, but they put it aside to answer ... and it got lost in the shuffle. (I do that ... sigh.)

Give it one more shot.

And when you re-word it - think - how will this query appeal to an attorney who is trying to make a living?

Or ... just give up and pick up some Kiplinger personal tools.

Willpower - for wills

Or Kiplinger's Home and Business Attorney - For other legal documents, forms and contracts
