If you have a website that provides information or anything interesting ... you may apply to Google to have the right to put their Adwords on your pages. You don't have to have a professional website. It could simply be a hobby. But if you've put together anything of interest, you're probably eligible. Once accepted, you have a choice of many different styles, or shapes of ad boxes to use on various pages of your site(s). For instance: - The skyscraper on TaxMama.com (4 vertical) - The two-across on TaxMama's FAQs In different colors - The Help Desk and Web Review You get paid per click. The price will vary depending on which ad is clicked, and how much was bid on that ad. (Naturally, you don't want to abuse the clicks by tell all your friends to rush over and start clicking.) Basically, it means you no longer have to run out and try to sell advertising on your sites. Google does it for you. People earn from a few hundred dollars, to several thousand per month. It's been such a boon. I know so many people who would have been forced to shut down wonderful free websites because readers were not making contributions to keep the doors open.
