Dear TaxMama:

I am in the middle of a workmans compensation audit and my question is:

Is a corporate tax return also know as "employee federal tax reports"

Cindy

TaxMama Replies

Hi Cindy,

No. Good try, though.

The "employee federal tax reports" are the annual Form 940 and the 4 quarterly Forms 941.

Workmans comp is about payroll. They want to reconcile your reports to them with the payroll reports you sent to the government.

Best wishes,
