» From: Fort Worth, TX Dear TaxMama: What paperwork do need to file to be an S Corp in Texas and possibly file a UCC1 to be reg in NV? Lawrence ![]() Do you want to incorporate in Texas or NV? I'm not an attorney, so don't look to me for answers on paperwork to incorporate. These guys at Corporate.com can set up your corporation in Nevada or Texas for a reasonable fee. Although, a Google.com search will give you the information for your state's, or Nevada's UCC-1 paperwork. (It's different for each state.) Once you decide where you want to locate your corporation, you'll need to file IRS Form 2553 to establish your S-Corporation. Also, you'll need to file your state's equivalent form, if applicable. (None of the incorporating companies file them for you.) You need to file the Form 2553 by the 15th day of the third month of your corporation's existence. I do hope this helps?
